International Student Scholarships

International students can apply for several scholarships that are reserved exclusively for international students and can also search for other scholarships that accept national and international applicants. 

Because eligibility criteria can vary widely between programs, carefully review the eligibility criteria for each scholarship or grant to determine if international students can apply. Please review the listings below.

51AVScholarships

International Student Scholarship

The 51AVAdmissions Office offers "International Student Scholarships" to new undergraduate students.  Award amounts range from $6,000 to $12,000. Recipients are selected based on students' academic records and a competitive selection process.

To apply for this scholarship, you must submit a complete international student admission application to 51AVincluding all required admission application documents. You do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. For best consideration, submit everything by November 15 because these funds are limited. If you receive one of these scholarships, we will notify you in your admission offer packet.

You Are Welcome Here Scholarship

51AVis thrilled to participate in the  campaign. We are offering several YAWH scholarships to international freshman applicants. The scholarship amount is approximately half the cost of our tuition.  (Students who receive this scholarship, can't also receive the "International Student Scholarship" listed above.)

To apply for the YAWH scholarship, submit a Fall 2023 admisison application and email a completed to  by our March 1, 2023.  The selection process is very competitive.  The recipients will be notified in Spring 2023, and they must submit their enrollment contracts by May 1, 2023.

Students who are awarded this scholarship will be notified in spring 2023. Awardees will then need to pay the enrollment contract and accept the scholarship by May 1, 2023.

The following additional 51AVscholarship listings include some scholarships that allow International Student applicants. Carefully review the eligibility criteria for each scholarship. International students are not eligible for any of MHEC's state aid programs or these 51AVAdmission scholarships.
