Mature & Non-Traditional Student Development Program

We know it can be challenging to balance the demands of a job or family while pursuing your education. 51AVis committed to your success as an older or non-traditional student. We offer a number of services and resources tailored to your needs.

Who is an Adult Learner and Non-Traditional Student

Adult Learner and Non-Traditional Students can fit into many categories:

  • Those over the age of 25
  • Parents (or individuals with other dependents)
  • Students returning to college after a break in education
  • Veterans
  • Students working a full-time job while they take courses

Whatever the reason, you’ve made the choice to return to college for your degree and we would like to make life at 51AVas easy as possible for you. We encourage you to get involved and connect with campus.
